The Colorado River is famous for its beautiful scenery and spectacular canyons.
The river is 1450 long and begins in the Rocky Mountains and flows through Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, California, Arizona Nevada. Only a few miles from
our hotel, you will enjoy some of the most magnificent surroundings of the lower
Colorado River. It offers boating, fishing, hunting and other water sports.
Blythe Intaglios are gigantic human, animal and geometric figures on the ground surface located west of the Colorado River about 15 miles north of Blythe, California. The ground drawings are situated on two low mesas. The largest human figure measures 171 feet from head to toe. Their age is in between 450 and 2,000 yrs old.
The Glamis Sand Dunes are the most popular off-road destination in Southern California with over 118,000 acres of land. Also known as Imperial Sand Dunes, it is located in the southeastern corner of California 55 miles from our hotel. 1.4 million visitors come each year to camp over weekends and ride in the dunes.
Joshua Tree National Park encompasses some of the most interesting geologic displays found in California’s deserts. The park offers 794,000 acres of open space
with many campgrounds, hiking trails, and is extremely popular with rock climbers.
Birding also attracts many visitors. Joshua Tree has recorded over 250 kinds of birds from the park.
